Right now, NLCS is taking a major step to serve new generations: preparing to launch an array of home and community based services, and adding assisted living and assisted living/memory care to our independent living communities.

The goals are simple: to let you stay in your home and maintain your independence longer. To achieve them, we’re introducing advanced, touchscreen technology and two-way communication between you and your care team, with a 24-hour “Safer Aging concierge” on duty. These capabilities are just one facet of a broad spectrum of innovations that will enhance the way we deliver care.

Home based care is a fee-for-service offering that includes case management for appropriate monitoring. We also plan to expand the Home & Community Based ministry into the broader community. Future plans include services that address physical, social and clinical needs, all individually tailored to a resident’s needs and desires.

Services may include:

• formal Activities of Daily Living (ADL) management
• housekeeping
• personal care
• transportation off campus
• in-home dining services
• physical and occupational therapy assessment
• personal health coordination
• nutrition and exercise counseling
• medication management
• post-acute care case management
