A Mission that Counts on Your Spirit
National Lutheran Communities & Services is a serving agency affiliated with the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., Delaware-Maryland and Virginia Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). From Sarah Utermehle’s donation of land and the hands-on healing work of the Board of Lady Managers to charitable gifts of time, talent and treasure and decades of families trusting loved ones to our care, we are and always will be a ministry of the Lutheran Church, unwaveringly pursuing Christ’s mission on earth to serve those in need.
